Loading ...The 6th Annual Switchfoot Bro-Am presented by Hurley (www.switchfoot.com/p/broam) will feature performances by Timmy Curran, Dynamite Walls, Jon Foreman and Friends, OK Go, Chris Shiflett & The Dead Peasants, The Almost, Kate Voegele and Young the Giant. The concert/surf contest will take place on Saturday, June 26th, at Moonlight Beach in Encinitas.
BREAD OF STONE JOINS SUPERCHICK AND JOHN REUBEN ON ALIVE SPRING TOUR
Nashville, TN — March 10, 2010 – After spending the last few months doing mission work and in the studio recording a new album, Bread of Stone will now change their energy to touring.
Following the fall tour with the newsboys, the band visited their homeland, Indonesia, to work with Pastor Yehezkiel, whose church is called Gereja Allah Baik (direct translation – Good God Church). “We went to Indonesia with the idea of ministering to the people who are in need, but we were the ones who were humbled by what we experienced there,” said lead singer, Ben Kristijanto. “These pemulung (scavengers) clearly have no earthly possessions, but they have the one thing that most of us have neglected – Jesus Christ.”
